Made in Ireland. For surfers everywhere.
As a blow-in, I’ve come to love the West Coast of Ireland, its waves and people and I hope to reflect that in the design of the bags. The colours of the fabric are inspired by my local coastline; the deep blue and golden brown of underwater kelp forests and the turquoise of waves breaking over dark grey rocks.
Every bag is made to order by me in my little space in County Clare. I cut the fabric, sew the bags and put on finishing touches. The design of the bags may be simple, but they are robust. Following a ‘own less, surf more’ approach, all board bags have a roll-up bottom meaning that one bag will fit several size boards.
Heavy duty, gentle natured.
When designing the bags I set out to make something that lasts and make it from materials that have as little environmental impact as possible. Other than aiming to produce a high-quality product in the first place, I offer returns, repairs, and replacements for all bags.
The bags are made from durable, organic cotton canvas lined with a soft, organic cotton fabric. All fabrics are GOTS certified, meaning that the cotton was grown organically, and then spun, woven and dyed to high social and environmental standards. The webbing and buckles are made from recycled plastic from plastic waste, fishing nets, carpets and clothes.
